Hi Kaioshen,

Good question! In our case, the two years minimum experience is more targeted at experience working with a team, making bids and and technical pipeline proficiency. Which are facets of your ability a bit aside from the portfolio quality.

Now, a good strong portfolio will always open doors for you regardless of your experience, though perhaps more for a junior entry level seat. Good companies hardly ever pass on upcoming talents.

How we define how an opening is for a junior or senior level candidates has often to do with budgeting or simply how demanding the upcoming production schedule is.

Good tips to land a job could be to always have a polish portfolio available online and post your signed work everywhere you can and always strive to make your last piece better than the one before and the telephone should ring soon after.

Hope this help!
