Hi Jonathan,
As said and Jamir, I think that would be incredible to receive critique from you and/or the other judges. For the next contest I'd like a post-apocalyptic theme. All the Best, Iurie |

Congratulations to the winners! I really thought the level was pretty high in this month's competition. Bring on the next theme Mr Berube

Hey, congratulations to the winners! Nice work... I thought
a competition with only bird-eye-perspectives would be challenging, where fotoreferences are less useful than texture painting. Or a 'Epic of Gilgamesh'- theme with 4000 bc buildings, deserts and forests....anyway, can't wait for the next round! - Stephan |

Congrats to the winners and thank you Jonathan for setting an awesome theme! Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and looking forward to seeing the next comp...
How about "local destruction" lets get everyone out and take a picture of their local town/city/field and have a matte theme on alien attack/earthquake/natural disaster or just how our local area would look if humans no longer existed after a certain amount of time. I think everyone could spare 30mins just getting some fresh air to get some good shots to work with... i know i spend too much time at this desk! Anyhoot, looking forward to the next challenge Pinyo |

Hola,
Yatzenty brought up the suggestion of posting the winners directly in the contest's thread. He also mentioned that while searching through older contests, it was difficult to find who were the winners. We are in agreement with this idea therefore, took action right away regarding this item. An additional sticky thread was created to remedy to both inquiries. Look for the Winner announcement under the main Contest Page. Thanks again for bringing up your concerns and ideas and making the CGC Matte Painting Contest the place to be for Matte Painting. Best, -J
