Default final concept

I've decided to change things around a bit, it's still just bare painting with no texture or 3d or anything, but just wanted to get a hold of main idea I will follow and maybe a focus on that kong temple thing and how to incorporate it into final piece.

Default Another update

Well , having been off for some time. When there is a lot of days between now and a deadline people do tend to get lazy.
Anyway , since this is my very first crack at matte painting( I do mostly painting ) I was not sure how to proceed. For me fantasy or not thing has to have right perspective and make sense. Here I have yet another post of updated image based on my second WIP piece. I don't know if it is the best approach-little unconventional if judged by other work, but what is conventional here, right?Temple entrance must be making sense to me.It has to be easily accessible once you in vicinity. Not sure about rope bridge anymore.Imagine all sacrifice victims followers must get there. So will see. Some rock will be added and painted , so no "hallelujah mountains" here even though might seem like it .Temple detal , some cliffs and jungle vegetation here and there and I think we are home.
All in all I've never watched the movie. I do not like idea of big ape being pulled out of it's home and killed off at the end. But that's just me.
All comments are welcome, but do try to understand , just trying to break ice here.
