Thanks Kevin,
That would be excellent, I would very much appreciate your casting a keen eye over my work when its done (to some kind of decent-ish presentable level), and any points of advice or critiques would be great.

btw, I flipping hate ear ache, its like tooth ache.....only in the ear. Ouch

thanks again.

Wooden Puppet. I really like it. It is a fun, over the top, outrageous character. Simply great. I like that I can see the anatomy, but it is not diagramatical, and does what it needs to do. It suspends my disbelief enough that I buy into the reality of this crazy thing. GREAT!!!!

Default Sculpting Contest Final Results

I just want to tell the people who stuck with the competition, that you all did a great job, and I am excited to pass the results onto the CGChannel people who will make the big announcement. I hope you have a great time at Siggraph if you are going, and that you will be able to use the ticket. I will continue to check in on this forum for the next couple weeks if you want to continue to post updates. It has been a privilege hosting this contest, and I hope to do another one in the future. Thanks to the CGChannel management for their kind invitation, and to all of you who took part in the Thread.

Best Always,

Kevin Hudson

Thank you Kevin for all your good advices, it's been a pleasure and an honnor to have you as jury.
I've read your interview on the cgchannel and I found a lot of very intersting tips about how show our model and what is required in the industry today.
I've also find a lot of great production details in your interview on zbrushcentral, the work done at Dneg on John Carter is just amazing I shall have enjoyed being part of the team
Even if I heard a little late about the challenge I'm really happy to have participated

I wish you a speedy recovery

Best regards

Ramzi

Default Final Thoughts and Renders

Well, even though the final deadline is over, I wanted to share these details I added inside ZBrush 4R4, I couldn't resist not playing around with the insert brushes. And also I wanted to share some final renders I did. Well, turntable still rendering, but I managed to get a good perspective angle to show my creature.

Kevin, thank you for your kind comments, I was wondering if you could share a wire-frame image of your white ape you did for John Carter, I know I'm asking for something technical and not artistic, but I would like to see the edge flow so I can try to use it in my upcoming character since I did have some issues on the arms while trying to pose the creature, well I look forward to see if you can share that knowledge with us (or at least me).

Thank you again all of you guys, and I hope we get another challenge soon, because it took a while since The Heavy Metal one.
