Default Khurram. H. Alavi - Frazetta Homage

Hey everyone!
I've narrowed down my search to these two images.
I still can't decided between the two but I'm going to begin with the base sketch anyways!

In the case that you will do the Conan, I´ve found this great bronze statue in the web, it should be a good reference.

Default right on

I really like the crucifiction, it's really intense. Would look really cool I think. Good luck with whatever you decide though. I look forward to the WIPs.

Manuel Poehlau: Thanks for the great reference! I'm still confused though. The conan image is very dramatic and anatomically rich but the crucifixtion is so fresh and new.

jozizo: I know! The alien crucifixion is probably going to win the race .
Still not sure though.

I've started on the Alien and the supporting elements. ITs a basic block with an armature in place.

I think I'm going to try out the zsketch feature next!
More updates coming soon.

Great start! I like zspheres a lot. First I wanted to give it a try and use zsketching too. But then I used the normal adaptive skin, just feeling more comfortable with this method. Looking forward to your zsketching!

Thanks Manuel! I tried to use zsketching but kept failing at the fingers... So i've generated an adaptive skin and blocked it out roughly.

I really need to find out how fingers are made with zsketching.
