Alright alright!!

CGChannel, Fabio Zungrone and I are very proud to announce the Hobbit Matte Painting Contest Winners!

Now this contest was one of the best turn out in terms of participation and quality we've seen! You guys really made it difficult for us to pick the winners.

We base our judgement on first, the aesthetics of the shot. Was the delivered shot believable, cinematographic and accurate to Lord of the Rings style.

Our second criteria was technicality. Was the resolution good, clear and was the plate used and the quality of the footage preserved etc.

And finally, other contests guidelines and criteria such as posting a WIP thread and delivering the image on time etc..

In order to keep this thread easy to find, please post all crits, comments in the original Hobbit contest thread. Thanks for your understanding.
